Dr. Faina M. Gutin graduated summa cum laude from St. Petersburg Pavlov Medical University, one of the top Medical Schools in Russia. Her love to medicine and strong dedication to the profession motivated Dr. Gutin to pursue further training in the United States, where she first completed Internal Medicine Residency at Beaumont Hospital, Michigan. Following her personality to strive for excellence, Dr. Gutin elected to specialize in Allergy and Immunology and continued her training at an outstanding fellowship program at Wayne State University / Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Gutin’s accomplishments have been confirmed by Board Certifications in Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology. The latter she achieved in 2005, further defining her expertise in this specialty.
Dr. Gutin is an accomplished board-certified Allergy and Immunology specialist, who has superior medical knowledge, outstanding clinical and diagnostic abilities, and exceptional technical skills that she applies to patient care. Over the years of her career, Dr. Gutin accumulated experience from both academic and private practices. She previously served as Adult Section Head, Division of Allergy-Immunology at Cooper University Hospital. While holding an academic title of Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at new Cooper Medical School at Rowan University, Dr. Gutin was the Allergy-Immunology Course Director and she was directly engaged in creating their innovative curriculum. Currently, Dr. Gutin applies her excellent teaching skills to educating her patients and caregivers regarding the nature of their allergic conditions, of their immune system, and of immunotherapy.
Participating in research, Dr. Gutin authored several peer-reviewed publications and abstracts that were published and presented at the national and international Allergy-Immunology meetings.
