Deidre Emerich is an ANCC board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pace University located in Pleasantville, NY. She worked in various nursing positions including working as a perioperative nurse at a plastic surgery/ENT surgical center, a neuro/surgical/trauma stepdown nurse, as well as as an ICU nurse during the Covid-19 pandemic. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at William Paterson University of New Jersey. Prior to joining Penn Medicine Becker ENT & Allergy, she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in General Otolaryngology, and also obtained specialty certification as a Certified Otorhinolaryngology Nurse (CORLN).
Deidre is an active member of the Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head- Neck Nurses (SOHN)- The Greater South and Central New Jersey Chapter as well as an affiliate member of the Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery (SPAO-HNS). She is also a member of the Forum of Nurses in Advanced Practice (FNAP) of the NJ State Nurses Association, The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI).
