I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Kathryn Edwards at Penn Medicine Becker ENT & Allergy. After being referred by my ENT for unresolved allergy symptoms, Dr. Edwards conducted a comprehensive assessment and pinpointed the exact causes of my allergies. She provided tailored advice on managing my allergies, including specific vitamin recommendations that have made a significant difference in my well-being. What stood out the most was her commitment to follow-up; she kept in touch through messages in the clinic’s app, ensuring I was progressing well and adjusting the treatment plan as needed. Her proactive and caring approach was incredibly reassuring. I highly recommend Dr. Edwards to anyone seeking thorough and compassionate allergy care.

Dr Edwards is great. We took our son as advised by our pediatrician and Dr Edwards listened to our problems patiently. She did not recommend the painful allergy skin tests after reviewing his history and explained what it could be.

Dr. Edwards and her entire team are amazing: they are all extremely conscientious, professional, responsive, and thorough. They are also very good about advocating for their patients and handling any insurance issues that come up. This is truly the best-run doctor's office I have ever been to. If I could give them ten stars, I would!

Benefits of seeing an Allergist and Immunologist

Seeing an allergist and immunologist can be beneficial to those suffering from immune disorders, autoimmune diseases, or other allergic diseases. An allergist and immunologist is equipped with the knowledge to accurately diagnose and treat a variety of conditions through monoclonal antibodies, cell therapies, and various types of immunotherapy. These treatments can help to boost normal cells while suppressing any abnormal immune cells, which in turn may reduce symptoms related to infectious diseases or high blood pressure. Allergists and immunologists also have experience in utilizing therapies that are effective in treating both acute and chronic illnesses in order to improve a patient’s quality of life.
