Who is Jacob Fried, MD
Dr. Jacob Fried has been a fixer for as long as he can remember, breaking a problem down to its simplest parts, understanding exactly what’s wrong, and building it back up again. That instinct led him to otolaryngology, where he discovered he could combine two things he loves, the intellectual practice of medicine and the hands-on art of performing surgery. As a comprehensive care ENT, Dr. Fried treats patients of all ages, restoring quality of life through both medical and surgical management of ear, nose, and throat conditions.

Professional Background
Prior to residency, Dr. Fried spent a year as a Clinical Research Fellow in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina, coordinating multiple clinical trials in chronic rhinosinusitis and nasal polyp disease. His research on rhinologic disease and sleep quality has been published in journals including the American Journal of Rhinology & Allergy, Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and the International Forum of Allergy & Rhinology. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
