Joanna Kam, MD

Dr. Joanna Kam is a highly accomplished board-certified otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon with specialized training in facial plastic surgery. Her patient-centric approach is marked by personalized care, where she tailors treatment plans to each individual’s unique goals and needs. Dr. Kam’s expertise encompasses a wide range of procedures, including aesthetic enhancements for the face and neck, facial reconstruction post-skin cancer excision, cosmetic rhinoplasty, functional nasal and sinus surgery, scar revision surgery, and skin cancer reconstruction.

Dr. Kam’s journey is a testament to her multifaceted talents. She initially honed her skills as a classical pianist, earning a Piano Performer’s Associate Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She furthered her education by obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and immunology from the University of British Columbia. Dr. Kam’s academic achievements continued with a full-tuition scholarship to the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, where she earned induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following this, she completed a comprehensive residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI. Dr. Kam’s pursuit of excellence led her to Philadelphia, where she undertook a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. Today, she proudly calls South Jersey home as she continues to provide exceptional care to her patients.
